BI Developer (Azure Data Stack) M/F

This is your mission

Are you passionate about data, analytics, and building end-to-end BI solutions? Then this position is for you.

As a BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines, data models, and dashboards within a Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

Build side

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory or Synapse Pipelines
• Ingest data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, files, SaaS) into Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2
• Design dimensional data models (star/snowflake schemas) and semantic layers
• Implement data architectures (e.g., medallion: bronze/silver/gold)
• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports with optimized data models and DAX measures
• Implement governance, security, and compliance mechanisms (RLS/OLS, GDPR)
• Set up CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments using Azure DevOps

Run side

• Monitor performance, reliability, and costs of data solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
• Optimize queries, data models, and dashboards performance
• Ensure data quality through validation and monitoring processes
• Maintain documentation (data dictionaries, lineage, runbooks)
• Support business users and promote self-service BI usage
• Conduct training sessions for analysts and power users
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions

This is your background

You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Analytics roles, with hands-on experience in Azure environments.

You enjoy working on data pipelines, modeling, and visualization, and you are focused on delivering reliable and performant analytics solutions.

• Azure Data Factory / Synapse Pipelines
• Azure SQL (Azure SQL Database, Synapse SQL) and advanced T-SQL
• Power BI (data modeling, DAX, RLS, performance optimization)
• Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (Parquet / Delta concepts)
• Git and CI/CD (Azure DevOps)
• Data modeling (dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT design)
• Data governance and security (RLS/OLS, Microsoft Purview)
