Database Analyst Senior

As Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing database systems and ensuring high levels of data integrity, performance, and availability in our ecosystem:

Build side:

• Designing and implementing database systems in the Information Systems.
• Developing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and database triggers for data manipulation and reporting.
• Working closely with Development teams to improve the value of business process outcomes.
• Managing high-complexity databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Implementing backup systems to ensure the integrity of all database data.

Run side:

• Monitoring and supporting critical business processes to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide support to developers and APS teams, troubleshooting and resolving database incidents.
• Ensuring backups are made according to the defined strategy by each business line.
• Actively participate in post-mortems for major and/or recurring database incidents.
• Provide technical advisory on database performance, automation, and cost optimization.

This is your background

You have at least 5 years of experience in database management and optimization, specifically working with SQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL). You enjoy improving database performance, automating processes, and optimizing business-critical applications. You are looking for a role where you can leverage your skills to support a diverse range of business teams and ensure high availability and data integrity.

You have at least 5 years of experience in designing and optimizing databases and have worked on complex, large-scale database systems. You enjoy solving performance bottlenecks, innovating database solutions, and working on critical business applications. You are looking for an environment where your ideas matter and technology goes hand in hand with collaboration.

This is your expertise:

• Database Optimization & Performance Tuning: Expertise in developing, optimizing, and monitoring ETL processes, SQL procedures, and functions.
• Root Cause Analysis: Strong skills in identifying issues and improving database performance through partitioning, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Master Data Services: Experience managing and maintaining Master Data Services to ensure high-quality data across the organization.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Practical experience with DevOps pipelines and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools.
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with tools like Dynatrace, Zabbix, or ELK for performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
