Electro-Mechanical Systems Engineer F/M
Your mission
You will join a multidisciplinary engineering team working on innovative and large-scale industrial projects. As a System Engineer, your main mission is to formalize system requirements, coordinate design and development activities, and ensure validation and verification of the developed solutions.
You will actively contribute to system engineering processes by analyzing client needs, defining technical requirements, and ensuring traceability and compliance throughout the system lifecycle,from concept to decommissioning.
Build responsibilities:
Participate in the analysis of client and stakeholder needs up to system verification and validation.
Contribute to deploying and managing system engineering tools for requirement management and system modeling.
Draft and update system requirement specifications and engineering reference documentation.
Produce system deliverables and documentation aligned with INCOSE best practices.
Perform functional analysis of systems and contribute to system safety (reliability and functional safety).
Model systems using SysML, producing diagrams such as activity, use case, sequence, state, and internal block diagrams.
Support MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) implementation.
Contribute to technology watch activities, staying aligned with INCOSE and ISO15288 recommendations and standards.
Run responsibilities:
Support project teams through system design reviews and integration phases.
Prepare and deliver system engineering presentations in Belgium and abroad (occasional short missions).
Share, maintain, and continuously improve your engineering expertise within the team.
Your profile
You hold an Engineering degree, preferably with an Electronics specialization, and ideally a System Engineering certification or training (INCOSE-based).
You have at least 2 years of experience as a System Engineer or in a similar position within an industrial environment.
Your expertise:
Systems Engineering (INCOSE methodology, ISO 15288 standards)
Functional analysis and system modeling
MBSE and SysML
Tools: IBM Rational DOORS, IBM Rational Rhapsody, Matlab Simulink (intermediate level)
Experience in Defense or Aerospace sectors is an asset
Technical English proficiency required; French or Dutch bilingual proficiency highly appreciated
Willingness to travel occasionally abroad
