Senior BI Data Scientist

Are you passionate about transforming financial data into actionable insights and building performance-driven analytical solutions? Then this position is for you.
As a Senior BI Data Scientist, you will play a key role in building and enhancing product performance analytics within a Transaction Banking environment. You will help define, monitor, and explain product revenues while enabling data-driven decision-making across business, finance, and operations teams.
Build side:
You will design and develop robust analytical solutions and data models:
Design and develop Power BI dashboards (or equivalent BI tools) to monitor product revenue performance
Build and maintain revenue estimation and forecasting models
Structure and integrate data from multiple sources (data platforms, Finance systems, operational datasets)
Develop automated and scalable reporting solutions, replacing Excel-based processes
Define and enhance data models supporting product performance control
Contribute to data transformation workflows using SQL and analytics tools
Ensure consistency between business logic and Finance reporting frameworks
Run side:
You will ensure reliable monitoring, insight generation, and continuous improvement:
Monitor product revenue performance and identify trends or anomalies
Perform deviation analysis (Forecast vs Actual) and investigate root causes
Support data-driven explanations of financial performance variations
Act as an analytical bridge between Business, Finance, and Operations teams
Support decision-making through clear insights and reporting
Improve and maintain reporting pipelines and BI solutions
Contribute to the industrialization and automation of performance monitoring processes
This is your background
You have 4 to 6 years of experience in data analysis, BI, or data engineering in a commercial environment (financial services, fintech, SaaS, or e-commerce). You are comfortable working with complex datasets and translating business questions into analytical solutions.
You enjoy working at the intersection of data, finance, and business performance, and you are motivated by building structured, reliable, and scalable reporting systems.

This is your expertise:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
Strong experience in SQL (Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent)
Strong experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Experience with data preparation and transformation tools (Alteryx, Dataiku is a plus)
Solid understanding of data modeling and dashboard design
Experience in financial or product performance analysis (revenues, P&L, forecasting)
Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into insights
Exposure to automation of reporting and migration from Excel-based processes
Knowledge of AI/LLM tools is a plus
