Application Security Engineer

This is your mission

Are you passionate about application security and vulnerability management? Then this position is for you.

As Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining application security through vulnerability management and secure development practices.

Build side:

• Support deployment of code analysis and dependency scanning solutions
• Participate in the implementation of Secure Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
• Implement security scans (SAST, SCA, DAST) and analyze vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and mitigate security risks
• Contribute to the implementation of security measures for application and code security

Run side:

• Perform regular security scans and assess identified vulnerabilities
• Follow up on remediation actions and ensure compliance with deadlines
• Participate in the implementation of security controls and performance measurement
• Produce reporting related to security processes and vulnerabilities
• Contribute to awareness, best practices, and secure coding within the AppSec community

This is your background

You have at least 2 years of experience in IT Risk and Cybersecurity, with exposure to application security and vulnerability management.

This is your career path.

You have experience working with development and security teams, contributing to secure coding practices and vulnerability management processes.

This is your expertise:

• Application security tools (Qualys, Fortify, Nexus IQ)
• Vulnerability management and automation (Python scripting)
• Security testing (SAST, SCA, DAST)
• OWASP Top 10
• Programming and development technologies (Java, Angular, REST APIs)
• Kubernetes (knowledge)
• Security principles and code security best practices
