Senior Mainframe Developer

This is your mission

Are you passionate about transforming and optimizing complex mainframe ecosystems? Then this position is for you.

Build side:

• Design, develop, and enhance complex mainframe applications

• Evolve system functionalities with a strong focus on performance and scalability

• Develop optimized database integrations with IDMS and DB2

• Contribute to product evolution by bringing technical insight into roadmap discussions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices

Run side:

• Maintain and optimize existing mainframe applications in production

• Develop and maintain JCL scripts to automate batch processing and data transfers

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across applications and databases

• Ensure compliance with security standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements

• Support continuous improvement of system reliability and operational performance

This is your background

You have several years of experience working in demanding mainframe environments. You enjoy tackling complex challenges, working with large-scale applications, and partnering with teams to keep critical systems running smoothly. You are continuously seeking improvement and value environments where your expertise can shape technical strategy.

This is your expertise:

• Mastery of COBOL, JCL, IDMS, and DB2

• Strong experience in large-scale mainframe development

• Solid understanding of database optimization and batch processing

• Familiarity with secure software development and compliance practices
