Technical Engineer / Project Manager

Are you passionate about IT production environments, DevOps practices and infrastructure project delivery? Then this position is for you.
As Technical Engineer / Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting production environments and driving infrastructure projects within a complex international IT ecosystem.
Build side (Project Management – ~25%)
Manage infrastructure and production projects end-to-end in collaboration with Business and IT stakeholders
Implement technical architecture solutions hosting business applications in production environments
Coordinate multiple technical teams (systems, middleware, network, cloud) to ensure project delivery
Ensure compliance with Group architecture standards, resilience, and security requirements
Prepare production transition and ensure smooth handover to Application Production Support teams
Manage project planning, governance, reporting, and budget tracking (Mendays)
Identify and integrate obsolescence management, decommissioning activities, and infrastructure optimization
Facilitate project committees (validation, monitoring, steering committees)
Run side (Production Support – ~75%)
Provide Level 3 production support for critical IT applications and infrastructure environments
Ensure operational stability, resilience, and performance of production systems
Monitor systems using observability tools and proactively address incidents or performance issues
Support automation and operational improvements through DevOps practices
Collaborate with application support and RUN teams to maintain operational conditions
Define and monitor SLA and KPI related to production support activities
Participate in transformation initiatives such as DevOps, Agile methodologies, and Move-to-Cloud programs
Coordinate technical actions during critical releases or maintenance windows (including off-hours if required)

You have at least 5 years of experience in demanding IT production or DevOps environments. You enjoy solving complex technical challenges and working at the intersection of operations, infrastructure, and project management.

You have at least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, production support, or DevOps environments, ideally within complex or international organizations.
You have developed strong expertise working with critical production systems, combining technical engineering skills with project coordination responsibilities.
You enjoy working at the intersection of operations, infrastructure, and project management, and you are comfortable interacting with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
You are looking for a role where you can contribute to large-scale infrastructure and cloud transformation projects, while maintaining the stability and performance of production environments.
This is your expertise:
Strong experience with Linux production environments
Knowledge of middleware and legacy production tools (Websphere, Autosys, CFT)
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD ecosystems (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure Pipelines)
Containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace
Experience with automation tools such as Ansible
Project management and tracking tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, or Monday
