Business Expert Tribe Data Finance

This is your mission

Are you passionate about connecting business needs with data, finance, and transformation? Then this position is for you.

Build side:

• Represent Finance needs within the Tribe/Squad and ensure priorities reflect strategic business objectives

• Identify and design process optimizations and continuous-improvement initiatives

• Draft, refine, and validate business components of user stories

• Develop business cases to support prioritization and OPUS investment decisions

• Contribute to data and analytics requirements and ensure alignment with governance rules

Run side:

• Prepare and execute UAT test cases based on acceptance criteria; report defects and inconsistencies

• Support change management initiatives impacting business processes

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during integrations

• Monitor performance indicators and prepare dashboards to track improvements

• Ensure compliance with mandatory training and relevant financial/risk frameworks

• Perform ad‑hoc activities necessary to achieve Tribe objectives

You have solid experience in Finance, Data, or Business Analysis within demanding environments. You enjoy connecting business logic with data insights and are constantly seeking process improvements. You thrive in collaborative settings where innovation and continuous transformation matter.

This is your expertise:

• Deep understanding of financial processes, including product pricing, profitability analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting

• Strong awareness of regulatory and compliance obligations in the financial sector (e.g., Banco de Portugal regulations)

• Data‑driven mindset with the ability to structure, interpret, and present financial KPIs

• Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, SQL

• Experience with management information systems and ERP tools (e.g., Dynamics Navision)

• Agile experience (Scrum, Kanban) and ability to translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria

• Understanding of risk mapping, incident reporting, and operational risk impacts
