Data Engineer

This is your mission

Are you passionate about data engineering, ETL processes and data warehousing? Then this position is for you.

As a Data Engineer, you will join an international data team responsible for delivering high-quality data to Global Markets front-office environments. You will contribute to the industrialization of data feeds, the design of robust ETL processes, and the continuous improvement of data platforms.

Build side:

Perform and document detailed data analysis to support business requirements
Design, define and validate data models for multiple financial use cases
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using SSIS and Python
Contribute to data warehouse and datamart design
Industrialize and automate data feeds to ensure reliability and scalability
Optimize SQL queries and improve performance (efficient memory and processing practices)
Ensure best practices in version control using Git (preferably Bitbucket)

Run side:

Provide support and troubleshooting for data pipelines and production incidents
Monitor and maintain data processing workflows to ensure stability and performance
Identify and implement process optimization and improvement measures
Collaborate with other IT stakeholders to enhance data architecture and standards
Ensure data consistency, quality and governance across systems
Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team

This is your background

You have at least 3+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles within demanding data-driven environments.

You enjoy working with complex datasets, optimizing performance and designing robust data architectures. You are detail-oriented but capable of maintaining a strong synthesis vision. You are looking for a collaborative environment where your expertise directly impacts business performance.

This is your expertise:

Advanced SQL knowledge (mandatory)
Strong experience in Oracle environments (mandatory)
Professional experience with SSIS (minimum 2 years)
Professional experience with Python
Data warehousing concepts (ETL/ELT, datamarts, modeling)
Performance tuning and query optimization
Version control using Git (Bitbucket preferred)
