ETL Developer
This is your mission
Are you passionate about data engineering, large-scale data integration, and building robust data platforms? Then this position is for you.
As an ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting ETL processes within a transversal Data Factory framework, ensuring reliable data aggregation, transformation, and quality control across the ecosystem.
Build side:
Participate in the full ETL development lifecycle: analysis, development, testing, and deployment (mainly using IBM DataStage PX and SQL).
Set up and configure development environments prior to implementation.
Develop and customize IBM DataStage PX components and enablers.
Perform and document unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests (e.g., Octane, Quality Center, or similar tools).
Contribute to technical solution design and challenge business/technical requirements when needed.
Apply best technological and methodological practices within the Data Factory framework.
Identify innovative ideas and contribute to proof of concepts aligned with project needs.
Ensure performance optimization of ETL jobs and resolve related issues.
Deliver high-quality solutions with proper documentation and acceptance evidence.
Run side:
Ensure maintenance and Level 3 support of the ETL application portfolio.
Monitor job performance and proactively resolve incidents and bottlenecks.
Provide user support and technical guidance on ETL processes.
Document bug reports, tickets, and code changes clearly and accurately.
Maintain and improve data quality controls within the Data Factory platform.
Acquire and deepen functional and technical expertise on key application components.
Collaborate with transversal teams to ensure stability and continuous improvement.

This is your expertise:
IBM DataStage PX (or similar ETL tools)
SQL and PL/SQL development (Oracle database environment)
Shell scripting and Unix/Linux environments
Git and Jenkins
Experience with automated testing tools (Octane, Quality Center or similar)
Technical analysis and documentation
Knowledge of REST APIs and service/event-oriented architecture (nice to have)
Experience in Agile contexts (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Ansible)
