Python Developer

This is your mission

Are you passionate about Python development, data engineering and high-performance computing? Then this position is for you.

As a Python Developer, you will contribute to the evolution of a large-scale data platform used to industrialize quantitative models and data exploitation in a strategic, data-driven environment.

Build side:

• Contribute to development in line with enterprise standards and architectural principles

• Participate in technical design (functional & technical specifications)

• Define and implement software architecture in collaboration with architecture teams

• Develop, optimize and industrialize Python applications and packages

• Ensure high-performance data processing (parallelization, distributed computing, optimization)

• Write and maintain technical documentation

• Promote best practices (Design Patterns, TDD, clean code, coding standards)

Run side:

• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and support Agile rituals within the squad

• Manage sprint activities and help remove impediments

• Support Product Owner and technical leadership

• Ensure onboarding of newcomers within the team

• Provide technical expertise and mentorship to developers

• Contribute to continuous improvement and challenge technical/functional decisions

• Ensure code quality, CI/CD integration and compliance with DevOps processes

This is your background

You have at least 5 years of experience in enterprise software development and demanding DevOps environments.

You enjoy solving complex data challenges, optimizing performance, and working in Agile teams. You are looking for an environment where your ideas matter and where technology goes hand in hand with collaboration.

• Python and its ecosystem (Anaconda, Jupyter, VS Code)

• Data & computational libraries: NumPy, Pandas

• Parallelization & performance optimization: Dask, Spark, GPU/CUDA, CuPy

• Python industrialization: Design Patterns, TDD, packaging, clean architecture

• Git, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins)

• Docker, shell scripting, Artifactory, Hashicorp Vault, JFrog

• Code quality tools: SonarQube, Fortify, Nexus IQ

• Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, Netezza

• File storage & object storage: S3, Boto3, IBM COS, MinIO

• Data engineering, data quality, data exploration

• Agile/Scrum environment

Languages:

• English: C1

• French: (nice to have)
