Python/Java Developer

This is your mission
Are you passionate about backend development and evolving web-based applications? Then this position is for you.

As Python/Java Backend Developer , you will be responsible for maintaining, evolving, and supporting the Data Solutions Platform applications in our ecosystem:

Build side:

Refactor, evolve, tune, and develop Python and Java applications on the backend
Support the team’s development and provide extra support across areas as needed
Promote clean code conventions and best software development practices
Drive adoption of modern development techniques and continuous improvement
Collaborate with different teams to detect improvement areas and provide development guidance
Conduct deep-dive functional and technical analyses to uncover opportunities for optimization
Translate stakeholder needs into actionable specifications while ensuring seamless evolution

Run side:

Take ownership of mature, production-ready applications
Implement new features, bug fixes, and modernize existing applications
Ensure applications remain stable and performant in production
Review specifications and perform peer code reviews to ensure quality
Collaborate across multicultural teams and locations to maintain operational excellence

You have at least 5 years of experience in backend development and a strong track record in demanding development environments. You enjoy problem-solving, innovating, and challenging current technology concepts. You are looking for an environment where your ideas matter and where technology goes hand in hand with collaboration.

You will continue to evolve as a backend expert, gaining exposure to both web-based and standalone applications in a dynamic DevOps/Agile environment.

This is your expertise:

Python backend development
Java and Java frameworks, including Spring
REST APIs and service/event-oriented architecture
Continuous Integration/Delivery workflows (Jenkins, Gitlab, Sonarqube)
Dependency management frameworks (Maven, Gradle)
Linux/Unix environments
Nice to have: Test frameworks (JUnit, Jasmine, Selenium, Cucumber, JMeter), Oracle DB, Agile methodologies
