Software Engineer

This is your mission

Are you passionate about software engineering and computational infrastructure? Then this position is for you.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and improving computational systems, enforcing best practices, and developing tools that support the broader Quantitative Research ecosystem:

Build side:

• Setup and manage computational infrastructure to support development, testing, and deployment of applications

• Develop and maintain internal tools to support other developers

• Automate manual tasks to reduce delivery time

• Enhance QR pricing libraries and related computational tools

• Share technical knowledge with colleagues across international teams

Run side:

• Maintain and monitor existing infrastructure to ensure smooth operation

• Troubleshoot and resolve system and software issues

• Collaborate with teams in other locations to ensure consistency and quality

• Establish and enforce coding and development best practices

• Continuously improve processes and workflows

This is your background

You have a Master’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field with strong programming skills. You enjoy tackling programming challenges, explaining complex concepts clearly, and finding innovative ways to automate tasks and improve systems. This is your expertise:

• Advanced programming experience in C, C++, or C#

• Some programming experience in Python

• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals: algorithms, memory management, design patterns, and computational complexity

• Experience working in Agile, DevOps, or cloud environments is a plus
