Mission
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong experience in developing Digital backend applications in an ecommerce omnichannel digital context (at least 6 years).
She/He will work as a member of Digital Backend engineering team to build backend interfaces and flows (APIs, Software process, flows) used to adapt existing process or to create new features in our front-end applications (web and Native Apps).
Functional scope covers a wide range of ecommerce backend topics: product publication, accounts management, checkout, selfcare.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop stable server-side applications to meet client needs for new projects or refactoring ones.
- Ensure of the cleanliness, maintainability and efficiency of the code
- Collaborate with the other Digital backend members (Tech Software Designer, senior software engineers)
- Communicate with our dependencies to ensure we are taking the right decisions in each implementation (Backoffice teams, frontend developers, DBA…)
- Enable observability and alerting of the implemented/updated APIs
- Contribute to provide analysis and changes/fixes as part of loadtest sessions or support tasks analysis.
- Help on maintaining the right level of technical documentation of our applications.
Profil
Requirements
- Computer science degree
- Minimum of 6 years of proven track record developing backend for front systems with APIs and scalability / performance for large B2C/B2B ecommerce systems
- Strong understanding of Design Patterns (particularly within the Microservice Architecture)
- Strong knowledge in .NET core coding and patterns
- Strong knowledge in NoSQL / Database / Cache and indexing systems
- Strong knowledge in coding cloud native applications
- In depth knowledge of Kubernetes hosting and scalability management
- Strong GIT CI/CD knowledge
- Strong knowledge of observability and devops
- Fluent in English
Nice to have
- Good knowledge of Azure and especially AKS
- Knowledge of Mongo DB
- Knowledge of GrafanaLabs
